I just bought a PS2's hardrive 40GB and I don't know what can I do with it? may you help me?
well, you load it up with games and use a program like HD Advanced 2.0 to play your games from a hard drive. This will save you laser life, and give you faster load times. Plus when visiting friends or going on trips you have no discs to carry other than HD Advanced.
I have a slime version so I don't know how to install
Well there are two things you can do.
1. If it is a version 12 or 13 then you can install an HD Combo case and internal hard drive. Then used HD Advanced 3.0 (sorry 2.0 above was a mis-type) But this is an expensive mod (about $60) but i think well worth it. This will give games put on the hard drive faster load times and about 95% of the games you try should work.
2. Id that if you do not have a V12 or V13 then your only option is a USB hard drive. This will not give you faster loading times and will not have as good of a game compatibility as an internal hard drive. You would use USB Extreme discs to run the drive.
I already buy a USBextrem, may I ask one more question. how do you store movie into the hardrive
not sure as i have never done that. Only games.
Do you know some one I can ask this question
i use hd advance 2.0 and i have tryied it and it didnt work, but it may with 3.0 im not sure
