What are people's opinions of Nero Recode? I am having the same problem with pixellization, stutters and stops in the last 25% of a DVD. I am making movie backups using the following setup Hardware Pioneer 106D Ritek G04 with white top Software DVD Decrypter Nero Recode to shrink Nero 6.0.0.23 to burn Everything seems to work OK but then when I try to play a DVD in my DVD player the first 75% seems to work OK but then in the last 25% it craps out. Nero Recode is one of the worst encoders ever. You should try to use a different encoder to shrink your DVD, like DVD Shrink. As for the problem of the last 25% of the DVD crapping out, it is either Nero Recode (which it probably is) or there is a problem with the file. Try to repair it when put on your PC. Hope this helps. I was under the impression that Nero Recode and DVD Shrink were written by the same guy. The Recode files look pretty good on the computer - just having problems when the files are burned to the DVD-R. Zed
