I have a solderless mod chip and swap discs, and my playstation 2 (SCPH-39001 / V7) died yesterday, I did some continuity testing and found that a fuse labeled PS1 is blown, I confirmed this by bypassing the fuse entirely and having it work.

So the question I have is, what kind of fuse can I replace this with? There's no way I'll be able to solder the same type of tiny surface mount fuse back in, so I'm looking for a normal sized fuse instead. I found a faq that tells me it's a 0.4a fuse, but no voltage.

    Anybody know the answer?

    thanks

try getting yourself a pico fuse and use that as a replacement for the surface mount fuse

is there actually any reason to buy a fuse that is tiny (and relatively expensive)? Also, should it be fast blow or not?
