I have a modded Xbox with a large HD so that I can backup my games straight onto the Xbox. I know that the X: drive is used for chace files (which I don't know much about...just that they hope things load faster). What happpens if the X: drive on my Xbox runs out of space? If I play more games will they not play?

All hard drives have cache files. They don't "run out of space." They have a certain set limit as to how much they can store. It usually flushes out. If it doesn't, you can do it manually.
