What is a bad flash?

    Sorry for the dumb question, but what is a bad flash?

    its a bad firmware update i think

    there's no way you can get a bad flashed unless you have a bad media that die on you while reading during a upgrade, or power failure. Other than that you're completely safe from it.

    and I thought a bad flash was a 400LB man or woman showing us their goods.

    A bad flash just means the firmware update of the Modchip did not install correctly so the Modchip will not work properly.

    Having a recovery option for a Modchip would be good. Just in case you have a bad flash.

    Well then I guess you can never be 100% safe. Because a bad flash can happen. That is why a recovery feature on a Modchip would be helpful.
