    OK…I’m a total newbee so please excuse the TOTAL lack of techno-knowledge!
    I recently bought a Nokia dBox2 which came pre-installed with Commando6 for the UK.
    I took it to Torrevieja in Spain so I could receive Freeview BBC which is being pumped into my apartment via the Telmicro system.
    After several full scans (up all night)… nothing. My neighbour has an official box, which shows the Freq.is 320.0mhz. Symbol 6900 and something called QAM32 ??? but I can’t find anything in the DBox2 which refers to QAM. Can anyone assist?

    You have to edit the cables.xml.
    modulation="6" means automatic configuration and fec_inner="9" automatic for FEC.
    A line for you could look like this:
    <cable name="Telmico" flags="7">
    <transponder frequency="320000000" symbol_rate="6900000" fec_inner="9" modulation="6"/>
    </cable>

    That sounds complicated for a novice but I'll give it a go. Thanks for your help.
