I'm thinking of modding my Wii, but I just need to know, what is stealth mode???. Does it prevent your Wii from getting banned???. I don't wanna go through that again like with my 360. Also, if I keep my Wii up to date (2.2 right now, I think), will that protect me from bricking entirely???. Do I need something else???

    Thank you

Stealth mode is just in case if Nintendo comes up with a way to detect mod chips.

There's a program called Wiibrickblocker that patches the .iso of a game to disable the update.

My suggestion is to just stay away from PAL games if you have a NTSC Wii and vice versa.
