i have a hp burner and i use memorex DVD+R 8X dvds, but my burner is only good for copying DVD+R cds, and i am wondering if the chip only allows the DVD-R DVDs, if so is there a way i can get a chip that allows DVD+R cds? i have the slim ps2, and i read the thread about the mod chip V12 and i heard the -r dvds arnt working, but i need opinions? any help? thanks

There is no such thing as cd+r.

The only cd writable format is -r.

Get a dms4pro or lite chip.

With the right firmware it should run anything you throw at it.
