Hi, i have a junk psp and a nice new psp with 3.11 (puking noise) on it. since the countdown lived up to expectations and proved phony, I would like to take a part out of the junk psp and put it into the new psp to have the old firmware. I know that there has to be a chip containing the firmware, but will it work if i mix and match parts? And which part is it?

Ive gotten a lot of info from these forums, thanks everyone.

    LOL probably will not work.

By junk psp, do you mean bricked psp? because bricked motherboard is useless.

You would have to replace the whole motherboard....... Good luck!
