What program to transfer Analog Vids to the computer?

    I have a sony digital-8 camcorder and a computer with a firewire port for what I use my Dig-8 cam for editing. My problem is that I have over 50 Hi-8 tapes from my old camera and I trie to do digital pass through with both cameras and none of my programs recognize the analog video. I want to burn my old video to DVD-r with my burner. Is there any other way besides rerecording my old tapes to my digital-8 camera. I have Power director 2.5, ulead 6 or 8,and MyDVD3.5

    Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

    buy a tv card and import it that way:0)
