So far, I have had success on my slimline PS2 using these RITEKF1 discs made by Maxell. But the ones I use are the colored ones, and the only place I seem to find them is at Walgreens.

However, my slimline PS2 will read DVD+r on some games, but not all.

Also my slimline is particular about media, as opposed to my older fat PS2 which can read about any type of media. My fat pS2 has been stolen, and some of my old back-ups don't work.

What is the best type of media to use since slim ps2's seem to be picky. I rather stay with DVD-R, so where do you get these discs from, coz most of the ones I use now don't work, except the ones I get from Walgreens.

Use Verbatim, Ive been hearing ALL around the forum that Verbatim is the best, btw how does a ps2 FAT get stolen, the thing is kinda big lol... Surprisingly the Walgreens in Burbank,IL (thats where I live) have more Blank media to offer then K-Mart...
