I just get R4i gold 3ds several days ago. The card works all right, however, there is a " V6.1 " printed on the card.

But all the sites say that R4i gold 3ds can support 3DS V6.3 directly, why is it that there is a V6.1, not V6.3 printed on the card.

Is it possible that I bought a out-dated flash card?

that's ok, v6.1 mark r4i gold 3ds also work on 3ds v6.3, but you need use the update patch to flash your card first, use a dsl or dsi to flash your card, it will work on 3ds v6.3.

I have checked, the latest package for r4i gold is marked "v6.1" , in fact, you can test this card yourself , the v6.3.0 update didnt block any flashcart, so i think, your r4i gold will work well on it.

There is a RTS printed on it but no V6.1 any more.

Here's one picture for R4i-gold 3DS If your card can work well then there's nothing to worry about and if there is anything wrong you may ask your cards's reseller to change one for you.
