Whats a good quality dvd player to play all kinds of burnt disks?

    I'm having a problem getting some disks to work on my old rca dvd players and my ps2 wont pick it up either. Do you guys know of any specific dvd players that will play any kind of burnt disk with a powerful lazer???. Thanks in advance.

    Just buy a dvd player that is around $40 at Wal-Mart. Some of the big name brand dvd players are incompatible with some types of media/discs. Apex is good brand that plays vitually everything. There are dvd players that can play xvid and divx files...

    i highly recommend a phillips dvp642 $69 at wallyworld.
    plays virtually everything

    I just bought a oritron at Best Buy and it is suppose to play -R and +R and it won't play either! Cost:50
