whats the deal here?

    I have tried everything I can find on here, I cannot get windows to recognise my phone.
    windows 98se
    v180

    windows has to detect the phone b4 it will work for MPT right?
    Ive tried everything I can find, PLEASE HELP!

    does ur computer says that find new hardware when u plug ur fone with ur computer????

    Updrade your pc to XP :) Does your pc reconize anything you put in the USB? Be sure to look in your device manager to see if you got a modem in the list when its plugged in. I hear a "clobonk" noise when I plug my phone in and loading driver. Takes 2 seconds for me and a few more to reconize my phone and connect it in MPT's.

    I personally could not load any drivers in win98se that the programs could see muchless operate with. It looks to me that everything is written for xp. The same with windows me
