Whats the differance & whats best + or -

    Before i start I'd just like to say thanks to you all for your help.........My Q is which is best and whats the differance? Also I burnt a copy of 1 of my own discs and when i tried it out it played and then it would freeze for a split sec then carry on playing any ideas??? P S THANKS AGAIN

    what brand media are you using? Also, there is very little difference between +R and -R. -R is compatable with more dvd players, but most newer ones play both.

    Datawrite Red (whether v2 or not) are very cheap/poor media , I'd suggest Ritek G04 as your next purchase ;-)

    And as to -R or +R , it is fairly irrelevant these days...

    I'll take your advice and order some ritec as they say cheap is not always cheerfull

    *Trust me mate*

    Tried & tested loads of media... it is very important !
    (cheap media often gives outer edge errors , freezing or skipping in final chapters like)

    If your able could help me with 1 more problem? I have some NTSC dvds which do not play on my old dvdpayer is there any way i could convert them into pal???????
