What's the difference between DVD-R and DVD+r?

    Does anyone know what the difference is between the - and +? I bought a bunch of -R and my burner doesn't recognize it. Whats the difference????????

    With new equipment, theres basically no difference. But with older equipment, you can have problems. Try updating the firmware on your burner. That should fix your problem. Google the modle # of your burner and search around until you find the appropriate firmware, and follow the provided instructions.

    Is your burner -r compatible? If its not thats your problem stright away.
    It usually says in front next to the button you press to eject.

    Buy some +r and see if they work.
