This is a XFX PVT80GGHD9 GeForce 8800GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 GRAW Bundle HDCP, found at http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16814150173 for $340 not including shipping.

This is a XFX PVT80GGHE9 GeForce 8800GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 GRAW Bundle HDCP Video Card, found at http://www.chiefvalue.com/product/productdetails.aspx?submit=&item=14-150-172&ATTVideo Cards for $30 cheaper.

So I was just wondering are they the same video card or are they different? The specs looks the same, all that is different I think is the model, one is PVT80GGHD9, and the other PVT80GGHE9. So does it mean the latter is a later release of the same card?

They're the same. One site is just cheaper than the other. ;)

    They are slightly different
    PV-T80G-GHD9
    Clock Speed - 580 MHz
    Memory Clock - 1.8 GHz

    PV-T80G-GHE9
    Clock Speed - 560 MHz
    Memory Clock - 1.7 GHz

The one with the D is the XXX Version.
The one with the E is the Extreme Version.
If you find one with and F it is the Regular Version and it is 500 MHz & 1.6 GHz respectively.

So the first one is a little better. (All info taken from www.xfxforce.com)

I am pretty sure you would be very happy with either one. But of course if money is not a problem then go for the better one.
I only have the GeForce 7600GT from XFX and it works great with every game.
