What's with THIS?

    Buddy deleted a couple of programs and compressed my entire hard drive. Now when I go to "My Computer" (and any subcategories from there) some files are in usual black font WHILE OTHERS ARE NOW BLUE!!! What's with this and is it a problem?

    I recommend a system restore...if nothing works out...

    That's normal if he compressed the files. If you encrypted files they would be green. It's just a quick visual aid to let you know what is compressed and what is not.

    You can uncompress the files by Right clicking on them, then Selecting Properties then Selecting Advanced button towards the bottom right, then take the tick out of compress.

    You can select multiple files by holding down CTRL then click on the file.
