ive been having some trouble with my dvdrw burner. i would burn dvds with a burning program like nero or tmpgenc dvd author and in the middle of the programs it says that the burning process failed. on one day alone i've wasted 12 blank dvds trying to burn. I cant figure out whats wrong with my burner, this is the first time that this has happened since i got it and i've had this burne for quite a long time now.

It sounds as if you are burning at a high speed. Try burning at 8X or even 4X speed.
Would be nice to know the media brand you use also :)

    Cheers.

Good news all round. As you may have guessed, as a rule of thumb, use high quality media, and kick down the burn speed.

    All the best.
