whats your ranking of a geforce 8500gt

Do you think the geforce 8500 is capable of playing modern ganes lke lost planet etc. and is it a god graphic card

 

personally, i believe the 8500 is a sub par graphics card. its for casual non gamers, or gamers that play old games. games now like bioshock and such would not be a good game with this card. maybe games like medal of honor pacific assault would be ok for this.

if this is going to be for gaming, id go a little higher.

 

what if its the msi nx8500 512mb with dual core is it still worthless

 

It's pretty rubbish. If you're graphics budget is limited, go DX9 and get something like an X1900GT. Much faster.
