Probably never. The author works for Nero, so it's been said here on the boards.

It is also said that He is the author of Nero's Recode 2 and which is also said to be similar to Shrink.

Surveying some of the past threads via the search function may enlighten you further.

Why quit Nero, they pay him? Did you pay to download DVD Shrink? Would you work for free? I know I wouldn't :)

What would you like to see updated? I think Shrink 3.2 works just fine.

Everyone's a critic. If something's free, it's not fast enough. If it's not free, then it costs too much. Whatever.

Long live DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter.

After having to pay for Xcopy and having problems because maker went out of business I could not believe that there were to FREE programs that did what they do. We should all be greatful. Shrink does what it need to do, long live Shrink.

especially as i'm more interested in the older
films i've missed obtaining over the years.
not so bothered about the newest films So
Shrink is way adequate for my needs, with the
odd bit of help from dvd decrypter
