That is crazy! That was what brought me to the forum, basically cutting my teeth on forums and DVD backups all at once, then about the time I start to almost understand what was going on, the interest dies off. I do appreciate all the help I received and knowledge that was shared along the way by you old farts, I mean old skool peoples.

I'm sorry to hear about Pete. Think he was the first person to send me a PM way back when we were discussing protected sectors and my (very quiet) work on a certain part of a well used ripping program (still got backups of that kit lurking about too). In the last year a few have left us.. some I didn't like as much as I should, and others who (honest) should have gone years ago.. In my world you get hardened to it pretty quick.. but still.. it's always a little sad when it's somebody who I looked up to as a kind sharing sort of guy.
