    ok, i have ps2menu installed as boot.elf
trying to get it to read ipconfig.dat
    it is on the mc
and it is configured with the proper settings
    when loading it reads:

    reading ipconfig.dat
could not find ipconfig.dat, using defaults
    etc...
    what am i doing wrong?

ok first off you don't need multuple threads and posts.

did you put ipconfig.dat in the files folder?, are you using pukklink or similar?, are you sure that you have it on the mem card, check the disc you used to load it up to make sure that it is there and in the files folder

ok, i did not post all those times, something was wrong with my internet connection and it would not send my post, when it finally went through, there were three posts! sorry.

well, i did not use a disc. i used sharkport and sent all my elfs, irx, and dats with the badata file. i am trying to get execftps or pslink to work right now, but have little time to mess with it. Ps2link finds the ipconfig.dat file fine. Ps2menu does not. Execftps loads on the ps2, but i cannot connect to the ps2 from flashfxp on my pc yet.
