    Hi all, I am looking to get some G.skill ram but am having issues finding anywhere that sells it, Im looking for either;

    Or

    none of the UK resellers on the g.skill site have much if any GS ram listed.

    on a side note, also looking to get the GS Phoenix Pro 120GB SSD, have found this in the UK though.

    Thanks,

    maybe he already has G.Skill ram and is looking to duel channel. its a known fact that some of those Pre OCed G.Skill sticks don't play nice even with the Same Brand but different makes.

    I currently have 4GB corsair ballistix and am looking to go to 8GB, have heard good things about Gskill and have never tried it so thought i'd give it a go but getting it in the UK is proving rather difficult.

    Thanks,

    you should never mix match memory. corsair is a good brand stick with that, i would also recommend OCZ if you must have a different brand for whatever reason.

    He said Ballistix which is Crucial, not such a good brand :S

    Not sure what to suggest really, but I agree, mixing brands is a bad idea.

    Yeah sorry, crucial not corsair. I should have mentioned I'm going to get rid of the current 4gb and get complete new 8gb. Had read that gskill gives better speeds and timings at lower voltages. any other suggestions are most welcome though.

    thanks.
