i did everything the readme told me, and usually in custom firmware its dark and red and updates right in front of u
but when the 3.71 M33 updated, it felt like an official sony firmware update

as i was downloading i was sooo scared, i thought i would go back to sony 3.71 firmware and i was so close in pulling my power plug out of the psp, luckily i didn't

not for me. the universal unbricker v3 puts the psp straight to 3.71 m33-2.

works on bricked or fully operational psp's. and works on all psp's, fat or slim.

Well, what psp do you have? PSP-1000 (fat) or 2000 (slim)? If you have the fat psp, update to 3.52 M33, its way more stable and if you got the slim, well, you really have no choice.

    3.71 M33-2 + 1.50 ADD ON is just as stable as 3.52 M33-4

Granted some of the plugins that worked for 3.52 M33 are not compatible with 3.71 M33 but that has nothing to do with stability.

Most plugins and custom XMB themes have been ported to 3.71 M33 now anyway so there isn't much of a difference.

i have the fat one and yes, i went from 3.52 M33-4 to 3.71 M33-2

but the upgrader for 3.71 M33 looked like an official sony firmware and when it was upgrading i thought that i would go back to regular 3.71

usually custom firmwares just do it right away for example; 3.40 OE-A
did it in red letters, and you didn't even have to go accept the agreements, terms of conditions, etc..

I'm just saying that 3.71 M33 looks like an official sony firmware, that's why i kinda freaked out because i thought it would go back to 3.71

I will post it when you claim that 3.71-2 M33 CFW isn't as stable as 3.52 M33-4.

    It is just as stable.

Yeah, that happened with me too!
I saw the update and it looked so 'Sony' that I started crappin' it...
Took me a good 10 minutes to press the button!
