Which Cable Is The Best To Capture Video

    I have DV and Usb but I know USB is just for still images
    I just wanted to know if I Bought a firewire to usb cable, could I capture video from the dv connection of the camera through the USB tip of the cord through USB

    Probably not. You would be better off using the standard firewire cable.

    I just found out i could capture video through usb with sony vegas,
    but it looks crappy, so i'll just buy a firewire cable

    Make sure that you capture as a DV-AVI file. It is a lot less compressed than capturing as MPEG2, and the picture quality is better.
