Which Of the monitor is acually Bigger?19" 4:3 or 16:9 widescreen

    Im looking for a new monitor.It seems like the 4:3 aspect ratio is bigger then the 16:9.What do guys think?I really want a nice flat screen 19" monitor and dont wanna get ripped off.If any of you know were to look for a good one,get back to me.

    Technically, they are the same size. Screens are measured diagnoally so they are the same. Wether you get widescreen or not should dpend on what you plan on using your monitor for. Movies, applications, games?

    the 4:3 will be taller and the 16:9 will be wider.

    If you intend to use the monitor for games and what not, i'd go for a 22" HD Widescreen for an extra $100 or so! Trust me you'll be glad u did...
