Why can't you backup a swap magic disc??

    I would think you can't....because if you could then your ps2 would have to have a mod chip to get over the non-stamped area that is found on ps2 discs.

    But!!!!!

    If that is true....then how are these peolpe who sell the discs getting the "stap/imprint" on the disc so non-chiped ps2's can use them?

    Ps. i know you need a swap tool of some sort to be able to switch the discs

    they used a dvd press (just like sony) and pressed the swap magic code over an original ps2 game.
