Why convert DVDs to AVI, MPEG1 & 2, or SVCD formats?

    Pete,

    Got your message, and as a result of a severe attack of knee shaking sharky type fear I downloaded the "suggested" Shrink and DVDD. Aside from a couple of screw ups on my part (failing to uncheck English in one of menus which resulted in not neededed English closed captioning with English audio, and then not understanding that "re-author" will enable getting "full disc" button to grey out) the operation was a success. Even for dummies like me!! I am truly amazed that initial instructions were (no offense mate) relatively easy to follow and operation itself much easier than expected. Am now recommending Afterdawn.com and the Shrink/DVDD combo to all of my friends. THANKS AGAIN!!!
