Why is utorrent so slow?

    im trying to get diablo 2 and its got .1% done wtf its been like halph an hour. i ned help plz.

    Is your ISP on this list, it's not complete but contains most: http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPs If you use a router, it will need port forwarding or grant utorrent access through your firewall. At options>?preferences>connection, set a port over 10,000 that isn't the default and at options>preferences>bittorent, use Protocol Encryption: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/395674 and enable both DHT options but only on public sites and set both Global maximum connections and connected peers to 250-350. At options>speed guide>connection type, select the number closest to your upload speed after doing a speedtest. You should check the speedtest results over several days at various times including the weekend to get a good average and, if need be, reenter it. Your speeds will depend greatly on seed to peer ratio and also how much other peers you're connected to have completed compared to you. PS: if that's a copyrighted file and I think it is, naming it isn't necessary and is frowned on.
