Why my Kiss DP-450 do not play dvdrip format?

    Hi.I downloaded movies in dvdrip format but my Kiss DP-450 do not playing them,just showing zeros and thats it.What should I do?Thanks.

    You could try giving it a belly rub:)
    What kind of "DVDRip", what codecs were used for compression?
    Use MediaInfo to get the information about those files.

    I did...it didnt helped ;-)))))
    So I cheked file info.....
    File info:DVDRip 2:10:37(0:00:00-2:10:37),AVI,1/2 Audio
    Vidoe:XviD,MPEG4,640x352,23,976fps,1mbps
    Audio:Lame MP3,Stereo,48KHZ,224Kbps
    I heared that those dvd players can be upgrated with a codecs,(mine wasnt for a long time)if I will do this will it help?and how can I do this?

    don't bother.. the list of zeros shows the player isn't seeing any info on the disk.. what are you burning the raw files on? ..that player doesn't seem to support +r disks.. often they won't see them either.. no matter what you do. (forget -rom with the ones which don't see +r disks at all.. a few of my players spit out +r disks as "no disk" no matter what) and god forbid you are trying to use +/-rw disks on a player.. forget those.

    I would try a 700mb film on a cd-r to test.. just chop out some of what you have and burn that if lacking a suitable film..

    Thank u so much.I did use DVD-RW disks.I ll try 2morow on cd-r.Thanks again.

    no worries.. try both +r and -r dvd disks.. the machine specs only say it supports -r.. odd.. but it's old.
