Why isn't there any support for booting PS1 games from a HDD?

I would much more like to have my old PS1 games on the HDD than the PS2 games.

Because HD Loader/Advance is a PS2 program and you cannot change from PS2 to PS1 mode without resetting the PS2 console. A PS1 HD Loader cannot be made because the PS1 does not have HDD support.

Aah. Thank you for the answer.

The new ToxicOS have the possibility to launch games, maybe in a future release they can emulate the HDD as CD/DVD and launch a PS1 title as well.
