i'm really at my wits end...i've been backing up me dvd's and encoding some mpeg/avi that i've got on HDD...

heres where the problem starts...some of the dvds copy fine...when i try to copy my already bought copies i seem to be hittin some real problems..ie disks sticking and the player saying bad disk...
    i've tried using various software

    nero 6
    ulead
    dvd decryptor
    clone dvd

but on certain dvds nothin will work...could it be my pc setup or somethin??

    cheers for any help

Try ripping the DVD in DVD Decrypter ... ISO read mode

Then load that image file into DVD Shrink 3.2 ... let us know how ya get on :)

sounds like you have a scratched or dirty disc then , in that case ...

do a search on 'cyclic redundancy' as there are detailed explanation(s) in various threads ; )
