widows xp pro to home edition?

    I was just wondering if it is possible to go from windows xp pro to widows xp home edition. If it is possible please help me. Thanks all who respond

    I don't think it will let you do it as a downgrade. You would need to reformat and reload XP home. Why would you want too? I have both versions running on 2 different PCs and don't see any difference that would be worth the bother.

    pro is better than home anyways. it has much more networking options and administrator preferences. For the most part they're the same, but if you already have pro, stick with pro.

    Yeah, ditto. Pro has the options he listed above and it supports dual processors. So there's really no incentive to go to home ediiton if you have pro.

    I have to agree with everyone else, keep pro, gives you more options. One question, why do you want to downgrade?
