wii and asia

    i was woundering if i bought a wii from north amercia(ntsc) will it work in asia(pal)

    It won't be able to play games in the PAL format. The systems are region locked, so if you get an NTSC system, it will only play NTSC games!

    How about the power connection? Will the original adapter work or do you need to get an asian one?

    when I was traveling asia I just got a plug converter ...

    depends where you are in asia.

    japan uses 100v (us 110v) so you're ok there.

    other countries (china, hong kong, singapore) are 220v.

    check your voltages before you plug anything in. you can also buy a 220v power pack, or a voltage converter.

    Wow thats a drop here in Australia its 240-250v

    it killed my razor when I was traveling Australia .... at least thats what I attribute for the death of some of my electronics
