I am new to Wii and it just recieved and do not have a Mod Wii just a regular version. I have downloaded several .iso files and copies using ImgBurn to a DVD+R disc using a PIONEER DVDRW DVR-K15 1.11 (ATA) drive. The burn completes successfully but when i insert into the Wii, it states that the disc not recognized by the Wii.

    A couple of questions:
    - Do I need to mod my Wii to play .iso files?
    - Is there a special process to unpack the .iso files onto a blank DVD disc?

    Please let me know. Thanks.

So i gather that you cannot just make a copy of the ISO file to be played on the Wii without a mod chip? Is there no way to make a good copy on a DVD to trick the Wii to think it is a true Wii game?
