if its not allready been done (which im sure it hasnt) how long do u think untill there will be a sucessfull way of botting back-ups and/or homebrew simply by aplying a softmod. i dont know about anyone else, but i am waiting for this, as i dont want to buy a hardmod (chip) just yet.

Well since the relise of super papaer mario I really doubt it will be possible to do this as eventaly the system will need to be updated and the update Will remove the softmod.

read this warrning about it then you will understand what I'm trying to say...

    WARNING!

Just to let people know who download this and own a PAL Wii, you have to make sure you have an Internet connection, and have ALL! The latest updates installed.

Otherwise this game will try to update using the NTSC update that’s installed on the DVD, this is the incorrect version for your Wii and will brick it, and you will get stuck into an infinite loop.

So before you play this game configure your wifi then do a system update and keep updating until there are none left to install, then you can run this game fine.

Don't fear updates if you have a mod chip so far so good.

For all its worth I think it’s worth waiting to get the PAL version as this is the safest option available to you.

The only other way of doing this would be to make a custom firmware mod for the Wii to emulate the current firmware.
