Sorry I double posted this I acciden't placed this question in a diferent thread and couldn't delete it. Maybe someone here can better explain to me the disable and restore procedure. I have a Wiid chip and while it seems to be working I'm curious to be sure that all the features are up to par. The Wiid website need some serious updating in my opinion as most of their information is very vague. It says to hold the reset button and the power button for 3 seconds to disable the chip completely. Is that three seconds from the momment I hit the power button or three seconds from another point like the wii menu same goes for the firmware rollback? I tried to disable the chip based on whats said on the wiid site which also indicates upon restart that the chip will resume normal functionality. But when I put in a backed up disk it didnt' work as expected but after reboot it still din't work. so i figured i must have set the chip back to default requireing me to reinstall the firm ware but even after that my backups wouldn't work. Then it froze and i needed to unplug it for it to shut off and when it booted I was able to play the backups. Any ideas on this would greatly be appreciated.
