    Hi,

I installed wiikey on my wii and was able to play the original games and the backup games for a while trouble free.

However, after I put in the Big brain Academy backup, my Wii start having trouble reading other backup games that was working before. I start getting "Unable to read the disc.

"Check the Wii Operations Manual for help troubleshooting."

I have to reset/switch disc to get the games to come up with luck for a short while, but still can play once disc are regonized. However, now, none of the games can be loaded with the error message above.

It doesn't even load the Wiikey Base configuration v1.2 dvd (I use the US batch to make this disc)

FYI, I notice there were some setup/update happen when I inserted Big Brain Adademy disc, I have to reset my Wii couple time for it to come up. Could this change some setting to cause wiikey not function. How can I resolve the problem?

My Wii is US version, and most of my back up games are US backup and some NTSC downloads.

All disc I used are Verbatium.

    Any help are greatly appreciated.

Try reformating the Wii system. You can find this option in your Wii settings.

Others have had this issue and reformating the Wii system seemed to fix the problem.

ive got the same problem(but not from using Big brain Academy)

if the problem isn't a faulty chip or bad joints then it could be your media

try using a dvd-r such as fujifilm/datawrite and see if that works
thats what i'm going to do

tell me if it works for you

somehow eveerything is working for me both the dvd+R and dvd-R

all i did was play a about 1 hour on wii sports and wii play(originals)

then i tried putting the boot cd back-it worked supprisingly (it was a dvd+R)

after that i simply whent in to wiikey config and saved my settings even though i didn't change them

and now eveerything works on the wii

    kinda strange really

i dont know iof the same will work for you cardo78 and mega fish
