    Hi,

I recently tried to install a wiikey in my wii. However, when I tried to power it on for the first time the power led on the wii is red and when I press the power button it flashes yellow then green once and completely powers off. I checked my solder points all looked okay. I removed the wiikey and the same thing happens with the wii when turning it on. I think I have messed up a trace or something. Can anyone confim this by the picture? Also, can anyone recommend someone that can fix this if possible? I do not want to go any further and risking doing more damage, if at this point is possible.

    Thanks,

    Eric

From the pic it looks like the bottom right part where all the rails come together has some damage on it, I don't know how easily the DVD-ROM board would get damaged but that might be a problem.

The wiikey should work on both chipsets, based on their website.
