    is it possible to "un mod" your wii and turn it back into a regular wii?

    Why would you want to do that? I had a horrible time getting mine in. I would not want to go back.

    Sure, just do a wire install and clip it off when you want to remove it.

    The person who modded my wii did wires instead of direct solder on the board. It's easier to uninstall if I decide to go with another chip (although I doubt something better than the Wii Key will come out for some time).

    I had no troubles at all installing mine. I used wires, but only long enough to connect to the board. I used the instructions from the ps2-scene.org website.
