will a dvd-r disk be able to hold enough memory to play all the game

    hey gamers will a dvd-r disk be able to hold all the memory that a ps2 game haves and will it be able to play the full game like an original when i put it in my v9 ps2 with a modchip

    if the game is under 4.7 gb than a dvd-r will fit the whole game.if its above that you will need to burn the game onto a dual layer dvd-r using a dual layer dvd burner OR if you dont have a dual layer burner you can rebuild it.you can find that on afterdawn yourself =]

    Note: dvd-r have the same capacity as dvd+r

    you may need to rebuild the iso. somtimes the iso has dummy files that take up alot of memory and you can t burn them to a dvd because of the size of the iso.

    sinky, try reading the info the poster has provided before giving out 'help'. He has a modchip. So won't need to rebuild standard iso files. The only time he might, is if his chip doesn't support dual-layer discs, or he cant burn them. In which case he'd have to rip to a single layer DVD5 disc.
