I am going to europe for the Summer and i was wondering if i can use my european PAL PS2 in Europe. I know that you all will say 'of course doh' but, when i had a modchip installed, as an extra, the guy who installed the modchip replaced my power adapter from european electriciy to american electricity. Now i am going to a vacation in europe and i was wondering if i can still use my PS2 in europe like that or i will have to buy a new adaptor.

depends on what type of power bourd it was replaced it with. if it was swaped with one from a NTSC console then the answer is no but if he baught the power bour he may have got one that suports multiple voltages. The best thing to do is get a power converter.
