Please tell me if this is possible or if theres a work around for this because I bought a Sata II 500gb hard drive not knowing that my computer doesn't have any Sata ports so I decided to buy a Sata II PCI card. Is it possible to put that PCI-Express 1x card in a regular PCI slot?

No. If you haven't got any PCI express slots you'll need a PCI S-ATA card.

So there are no work arounds for this card to work for my computer? I might as return it? Or is there an adapter that can convert a PCI slot to a PCI-Express 1x slot?

Nope, you'll have to return the card I'm afraid. Look before you buy!
