Will no compression make quality worse?

    If I use shrink to strip out all the subtitles etc and save the file without compression to my HD as a file and not an iso will there be any loss of quality or will the stripped out VOB file be the same as the DVD?

    Yes, there will be no picture quality loss if the slider bar says 100%

    That 100% compression is what you strive for. It's always good to see 100%.

    No problem asking questions, but have you started trying to use any of the software yet? By using the software you can draw some of your own conclusions. You'll find there's a lot of varying opinions, not on this topic, where trying the software leads to better interaction on the forums.
