will some 1 tell me whats going on..

    hey when i start to burn a dvd+r with decrypter i stick it in all goes well buffer 100 percent then after that device buffer doesent even get 1 percent like it just sits there after it runs though buffer
    then it will just sit there trying to go through device buffer any 1 know why?

    The buffer shouldn't reach %100. This means something is wrong. You don't have enough RAM or your disc is dirty. It's having a hard time reading.

    it has before i thought thats what it was supposed to do load the buffer and the device buffer then continue to burn it this is what decrypter says when i stick the media in

    HP DVD Writer 200j 1.36 (ATA)

    its finished discs before but they never played on my home player or computer..with them running through buffer and device buffer btw

    Go into your device manager and check your IDE controllers. They should be set on DMA not PIO. Change both back to DMA if needed. If they won't stay on DMA, remove the IDE controllers from the list and re-boot. That will set them back to DMA when Windows re-installs them.

    where do i go to do that and is there a reason why this just started i havent changed anything..

    Several different reasons why Windows reverts back to PIO. Read errors too many time is one. Anyway here we go.
    Click start--then settings--control panel--click system--then hardware--then IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers--the click either Primary or Secondary channels--then advance setting on each one. Thats where the DMA/PIO settings are.

    .MDS file?? hmmmm maybe..
    Anyway how did you compress your movie to fit on your disk? (DVD Shrink?)

    Can you tell your process for ripping, reauthoring, and burning?
