Will the RIAA or any other agency show up in the uploads?

I had been running Kazaa without any IP blockers for a week on a new computer. Does anyone know if you can tell an authority is trying to access a file by it showing up in your upload area?
I'm assuming they can pull files without you knowing.
Also, if you are not allowing access to you shared
    folder can they access it?

first off with Kazaa, everytime you download something, i would move it out of the shared folder, and into another directory on your computer.
