Here's the announced schedule for the three major studios that still release on HD DVD:

    February 19, 2008
    American Gangster (Universal)
    The Invasion (Warner)

    February 26, 2008
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (Warner)
    Beowulf (2007) (Paramount)
    The Brave One (Warner)

    March 04, 2008
    Into the Wild (Paramount)
    No Reservations (Warner)
Things We Lost in the Fire (DreamWorks)

    March 11, 2008
    Bee Movie (DreamWorks)
    Fletch (Universal)
In the Valley of Elah (Warner)
    Michael Clayton (Warner)

    March 18, 2008
Justice League: The New Frontier (Warner)
Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains the Same (Warner)

    March 25, 2008
    The Jack Ryan Collection (Paramount)
    The Kite Runner (Paramount)

    April 01, 2008
    Appleseed Ex Machina (Warner)
    August Rush (Warner)
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Paramount)

    April 08, 2008
    I Am Legend (Warner)

    April 15, 2008
    Bonnie & Clyde (Warner)

    May 27, 2008
    Twister (Warner)

Twister will be Warner's last HD DVD release.

With regards to Universal and Paramount I think a lot hinges on when Toshiba makes an announcement.

It was supposed to be released months ago, but Paramount realized that they goofed on the packaging. They forgot to include menus and all the extras that the movie advertised on the box.

High Def Digest gives a release date of March. I also saw a release date of 2025 listed on Best Buys website a month or so ago. Not really sure if that's right, but don't expect to see it for awhile.

It seems to me that there are hundreds of thousands of HD-DVD players out there, so it makes sense to me that they should still release new HD-DVD movies as long as people keep buying them. One of the advantages of the HD DVD format was they could use regular equipment to make the discs. So if people are willing to pay, they should be willing to manufacture them. If people quit buying them, I can then understand dropping them.

They won't be releasing any new movies because there aren't any studios that back the format.

To my knowledge, these are the only movies left to be released.
