Hi every1I got a virus in my PC the other day and with been busy at work I didn't fix it, I switched PC on this morning and the computer bleeps once then restarts and repeats. When it starts it say Acer and in bottom corner Del:enter set up and F12 boot menu which I can enter but I don't know if this helps. I have a lot of stuff I need off the hard drive. When I bought the PC new it came with everything installed and don't recall getting any discs. Is there any way to fix this problem ? Thanks for taking time to read.

I've had that issue a couple of times, first time was a lose wire to the reset button(its actually very rare unless you have been changing hardware).
2nd time i had that issue the bios needed reinstalling.

i'd recommend starting in safe mode and see if that works,
trying to boot directly from windows disc and see if that works,
you should also be able to reset the bios by taking the battery out of the motherboard and putting it in again.

try going in set up and seeing if anything changed or wrong in general.
also could be a faulty power supply unit.

try "last known working configuration" in the safemode menu.

read your user manual that came with the computer on how to use recovery partition of your hard drive to reload windows. don't select the destructive format if you want to keep your data like docs & pictures.
