windows explorer

    i dont know if this is the windows section i should post this in but here goes

    windows explorer has been lagging on my comp not ie explorer my problem is that when i try to open a folder or my computer or sumtin like that it takes like 2-3min to open and and windows explorer kinda locks like the start menu wont open up whenever i try to open stuff up until the file pops up and i would like to know if anyone knows how to fix it like how to reinstall windows explorer or someting

    Check computer for viruses. Run Scandisk on all drives. Defragment all drives.
